DAY 1: SPAIN – ABIDJAN
International flight from Spain to the Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport, Abidjan, capital of the country. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by the local guide who will accompany us to the hotel, where we can rest after the trip. Depending on the time of arrival in the country, we can take a tour of the city to have a first contact with the culture. Night at Ibis Hotel.

DAY 2: ABIDJAN - ABENGOUROU

We will leave for Abengourou, capital of the Indenié kingdom. Along the way, we will visit the school of the fetishists (komians), who will perform a representation of their traditional dances. We will continue our journey until finally reaching Abengourou, where we will settle in the hotel and go out to eat some of the typical Ivorian dishes. In the afternoon we will walk among the cocoa and coffee plantations, which are located on the outskirts of this town. We will have the opportunity to meet the local king of Niablé and ask questions that arise to delve into his culture. Night at Le Royaume Hotel.

DAY 3: ABENGOUROU – YAMOUSSOUKRO

We will leave for the political capital of the country: Yamousoukro. We will leave the suitcases at the hotel and we will start with the visits. The first will be to the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace. We will return to the hotel for lunch and in the afternoon we will visit the great mosque and the sacred crocodiles that live in the artificial lake of the presidential palace. The visits on this day show the possibility of a peaceful coexistence between different religions in this region of Africa. Night at Hôtel AHO.

DAY 4: YAMOUSSOUKRO – KORHOGO

We will leave Yamoussoukro behind and head towards Korhogo, capital of the Senoufo country. We will make a stop for lunch in Bouaké and, later, we will visit the potters of Katiola. We will arrive in the afternoon at the Senoufo country, where after leaving the luggage at the hotel, we will take a walk through this town. The Senoufo are an ethnolinguistic group made up of diverse sub-groups of people, living in an area that stretches from southern Mali and western Burkina Faso to Katiola in the Ivory Coast. Its agriculture is based mainly on the cultivation of millet, yams, peanuts and rice. Night at Mont Korhogo Hotel.

DAY 5: KORHOGO – (PAÍS SENOUFO) – KORHOGO

After breakfast we will dive into the Senoufo universe. As a cultured people dedicated to the arts, they are famous for their workshops: painters from Fakaha, weavers from Waraniéné, pearls from Kapélé. The Senoufos are also known for the shapes of the roofs of their houses and for the manufacture and dyeing of their fabrics. During the day we will visit various workshops. We will make a stop to eat and rest a bit and in the afternoon we will resume the activity and go to see its temples and visit the sacred rock (shienleo). In addition, we will be able to enjoy one of its most intimate expressions: the music in Natiokobadara, where we will see the sacred dance (boloye), or the dance of the panther masks. Night at Mont Korhogo Hotel.

DAY 6: KORHOGO – GRAND BASSAM

We will head towards the coast until we reach Grand Bassam. This region has great agricultural and fishing wealth, which is why the French settlers made this city their capital. We will visit the city, we will walk through the port and we will leave for the next day some more corner to discover. Night at La Madrague Hotel.

DAY 7: GRAND BASSAM – ABIDJAN

After breakfast, we will visit the French colonial quarter, the local craft market and the museum of traditional costumes. We will take a short break for lunch and in the afternoon we will return to the capital, Abidjan. There are night international flights, so, depending on the date and time of the flight we have, part of the group will say goodbye this morning or will stay overnight to return the next day. Night at Ibis Hotel.

DAY 8: ABIDJAN – SPAIN

We will dedicate the day to walking around the capital and making the last purchases before catching our flight back to Spain.
