This ethnographic trip to Cameroon<\/a><\/strong> will bring us into contact with two of the most remote and isolated tribal communities in Central Africa, which follow the same ancient lifestyle as their ancestors.<\/p>\n

The first group is the remote and unknown tribe of the Saapa, who live in the Vokre Mountains of the Sahelian north. We will witness their masquerades and learn about their fascinating culture and unique traditions.<\/p>\n

The second ethnic group is the Baka pygmies, who live deep in the eastern rainforest of the country. They are one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes on the planet. The Baka pygmies maintain their nomadic lifestyle and their deep connection to the spirit of the jungle, Ejengui.<\/p>\n

On the way to the sacred mountain of the Saapa, we will come into contact with other communities such as the Dupa tribe and their traditional dances or the Mbororo nomads and their intricate facial scarifications.<\/p>\n

It is an ethnographic trip to Cameroon focused on culture, architecture and nature. We will live with different cultural realities and enjoy unique contrasts.
