After a prospective trip in 2025 Last Places\u2019 team of travel experts has designed a very special itinerary that combines visits to Bangui and Boali Waterfalls with a unique immersion to Banda tribal territory in the very heart of Central Africa\u2019s interior. Here, we will be able to assist during the month of November to a Ganza rite of passage, accompanied by the impressive Broto horn music. Banda culture: rituals, initiation and worldview<\/h3>\n

The trip to the Central African Republic will take us into the heart of the country to closely encounter the Banda people, one of the most representative ethnic groups in the territory. From the outset, we will enter a traditional neighbourhood where we will observe social organisation and daily life. Likewise, we will spend time with its inhabitants to understand their cultural practices.<\/p>\n

During the trip to the Central African Republic, we will meet an animist priestess. With her, we will explore the spiritual dimension of the group. In addition, we will witness a traditional healing ritual linked to ancestral beliefs. Thus, this experience will allow us to interpret the relationship between religion, health and community.<\/p>\n

One of the central moments of the trip to the Central African Republic will be participation in initiation ceremonies.
