Trip to Afghanistan
The beginning of this route runs through the great and chaotic city of Kabul, with layers and layers of history. The city keeps small architectural and human treasures that we will dissect. It continues towards the central Buddhist lands, where the Hazara live, friendly people of Mongoloid features with whom we will live. The route continues through the Hindu Kush to the Turkmen Desert, where another historic commercial center stands, the oasis of Mazar-e Sharif with its imposing blue mosque, still alive and active. Balkh is a delight for art and history lovers. The expedition takes a turn of the wheel with a jump to the hot Taliban south. The visit to Kandahar will allow us to understand the current situation in Afghanistan. We will take an urban tour accompanied by some Talibans, talking and photographing people and places, before finishing the trip in the Persian city of Herat, with one of the most impressive architectural heritages in Central Asia, the ideal place to end this unique trip through a unique country.

Trip to Benin
The trip begins in the cities of southern Benin, where the colonial footprint and the mix of cultures are most evident. And continues through the Ije country, with tattooed tribes, the Yoruba region with its animist temples, and the Agonlin Mountains, populated by nomadic shepherds, until the Sahel, inhabited by warrior people who live in adobe castle-type houses known as 'tata'. From the dry north, it goes down to Abomey, historical capital of the kingdom of Dahomey and the current epicenter in terms of traditions related to Voodoo. It is the most widespread animist religion in the world, since the slaves took it with them to the “new world”, where it adapted and evolved into different branches that still exist, such as Santeria or Candomble. A trip that allows us to witness another way of understanding life and death while, at the same time, you are able to visit the main points of interest around the country on a very complete and diverse route.

Trip to South Sudan
Itinerary designed to explore, mainly, two regions and the cultures that have developed there: the Nile and the Lafit Hills. In the swampy territory along the White Nile, we will meet the tall and majestic members of the Dinka tribe. Bordering them to the south, we will reach the Mundari, a Bari-speaking ethnic group with a cattle breeding system similar to that of their powerful Dinka neighbors. In the Lafit Mountains, we will visit two kingdoms: the Lopit, in a remote and beautiful mountainous area, and the Lotuko, near the town of Torit. Both are characterized by having kings who, among their functions, have the duty of invoking rain. They also have a social organization based on age groups.
