Our trip to Bangladesh will have a very intense start, as we will attend the Rakher Upobash Festival, where thousands of Hindu devotees sit in front of candles and pray. This festival is celebrated in Dhaka, a city that is flooded every year with rain and with migrants from the countryside in search of better economic opportunities.

After the festival experience, the journey will continue to southern Bangladesh, with a three-day visit to the Sundarbans National Park, where the last Bengal tigers survive and fishing villages still live in a traditional way.

This trip to the Rakher Upobash Festival in Bangladesh will focus on photography, where we will be captivated by the traditional Floating Market of Barisal, dozens of mosques, the beautiful Bay of Bengal, and the wonderful people of Bangladesh.

We will travel in comfortable cars and boats and sleep in local hotels.
