Trip to Bangladesh from 11 to 21 November 2024 (13 d. / 10 n.) / TRIP COMPLETED

On this trip to Bangladesh, we will attend two incredible traditional festivals. The first of them is Rakher Upobash Festival, a Hindu ritual in which the streets of Dhaka are filled with candles and prayers. On the other hand, we will also witness the Kamalganj Buddhist festival, in the rural areas of the mountains.

We will start in the hectic capital of Bangladesh where, after the festival, we will be able to tour its most iconic places: markets, shipyards, train tracks, slums and brick factories. We will continue towards the tribal area, traveling on an old train, an isolated region that brings together dozens of different cultures. In the area we will visit the tea plantations and the famous traditional textile factories.

A very complete trip, in which we can enjoy the festivals, contemplate the colonial architecture, tribal traditions and some of the hardest jobs in the world.

The guide for this trip to Bangladesh will be Héctor Ruiz Golobart, a senior telecommunications engineer and photographer specializing in portraits and documentaries.
