Trip to Chad: Gerewol Festival and Ennedi Desert
During the month of October, nomadic Peul-Mbororo shepherds celebrate Gerewol, whose goal is to unite clans and, for Mbororo women, find a partner. We will continue north to explore the great Ennedi Desert: canyons, ravines, oases, lakes and one of the largest collections of stone arches in the world. In addition, we will admire numerous cave paintings.

Trip to Northern Nigeria: Gerewol Festival and Hausa Emirates
During this trip to northern Nigeria in October 2024, we will discover historic cities with ancient Hausa-style adobe palaces, as well as some of the oldest markets in Africa. Also, we will have unique ethnographic encounters, such as the 'hyena men', the Mbororo tribe and the Hausa people. Additionally, we will enjoy Durbar parades, the Gerewol Festival and a Sharo ceremony of a Fulani community.
